Obama actually had the nerve to quote Jesus and call himself a Christian and use the verse "to whom much is given, much is required" as a justification for soaking the rich with higher taxes. Just goes to show how shameless and desperate he really is.
Jesus was not giving a mandate to government to confiscate the hard-earned wages of the people. He was talking about our responsibility to use the gifts and talents He has given us and not just sit on them. If He has gifted you with musical talent, then use it for His glory. If he has gifted you with oratory skills, then preach or teach His Word. This is not a "let's make the rich pay their fair share" mandate, no matter how badly Obama wants it to be.
