The recent tragic events at Fort Hood should serve and stark reminder of just exactly who it is we need protection from here in America. For the benefit of anyone who may have been vacationing on Mars or hiding under a rock somewhere and is unaware of what I am referring to, here is the recap: Army Psychologist, and Muslim extremist terrorist Nidal Malik Hassan opened fire on a processing center that was preparing troops for deployment. 14 were killed 30 injured.

In a stunning yet typical display of ignorance and disregard for our Military in which he is commanding officer, general George Casey and President Barack Hussein Obama both said along with their willing accomplices in the media that we need to be careful to protect our diversity while analyzing and discussing this event. Protect our diversity?? Excuse my French here, but to hell with our diversity. How about protecting our troops! Diversity and political can both die a slow painful death for all I care. America can not only survive, but will certainly thrive without them. We will be much better off.

The media wants to make this terrorist nutcase out to look like the victim and the military out to be the bad guys in this whole mess with the total cooperation of the likes of Casey and Obama. Both Casey and Obama want to downplay the fact that this deranged madman was a Muslim. Could that be because our factless leader Barack Hussein Obama is also a Muslim? What is this country coming to?? AN END, if we don’t get these clowns out of power next election.

America needs to be protected without a doubt. Yes, we do need to be protected from radical Muslim extremists, but even more than that, we need to be protected from the nefarious concepts of diversity, political correctness, and liberalism too. But more than all of these, America, its freedom, its troops, and the very fiber of its being, need to be protected from the likes of General George Casey and Barack Hussein Obama who seek to destroy this once great nation. They are the most pressing, most dangerous threat to America as we come to know and love it.

With this post I will attempt to deftly and skillfully weave three recent news stories into a single thread of one topic. So, here goes.

"It's just sad to see that in this day and age, the most offensive thing on a shirt can be what people see as a religious symbol" That is a quote from Stephanie Bennis, a senior at Penn State University which finds itself in the midst of a controversy over a t-shirt design that closely resembles a Christian cross.

"carving out a tiny parcel of property in the midst of this vast preserve -- like a doughnut hole with the cross atop it -- will do nothing to minimize the impermissible governmental endorsement" of the religious symbol. That is a quote from a 2004 California appeals court decision concerning a cross placed as a WWI veteran's memorial over 75 years ago. One man is suing, seeking the cross' removal because he feels people of other faiths may find it offensive.

"That's when I was told it had to come off, or I would be sent home. So they sent me home for six straight days without pay. And then today they terminated me," 20 year-old Trevor Keezer said about his firing from a Florida Home Depot store for wearing and American flag lapel pin that also contained the words "One nation under God.." Keezer also said he had worked there and worn the pin for 19 months before this became a problem and that it only became a problem after he started bringing his Bible to work with him.

Do you see the common thread here?? It pains me greatly to say this, but Obama may have been right when he asserted recently that America is no longer a Christian nation. Why else would an image on a t-shirt that unintentionally resembles a cross, a cross placed in the Mojave Desert seven decades ago to honor fallen WWI veterans, and a lapel pin that contains an American flag and the words "one nation under God" be so offensive to some people?

I must say I am pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the stance taken by officials at Penn State concerning the t-shirt issue. They are essentially telling the complainers to stop their whining and move on. They are not pulling the shirts from campus bookstores, and the complaints haven't been enough to keep them from selling out. Over 30,000 of them have been sold so far. Here's a novel idea, if the idea of wearing something that could resemble a cross offends you, DON'T BUY THE STINKING SHIRT!!

The incident of the guy being fired from Home Depot over the lapel pin issue is far more disturbing to me than the others for a few reasons. It is not only an attack on faith, but also on patriotism. The pin didn't make exclusive reference to God, it also contained an image of the American flag. The phrase "one nation under God" is in our pledge of allegiance. So, what Home Depot has done, whether intentionally or unintentionally, is show a disdain not only for God, but also for our nation's flag, and for the pledge of allegiance.

This guy had every right in a free country to wear that pin, and to bring his Bible to work. I mean, come one, common sense says that if Home Depot wants to be fair about this they would ban the wearing of ALL pins regardless of content, and would prohibit employees from books of ANY KIND to work with them. Of course that seems a bit too strong so instead they chose to attack the faith and patriotism of a God-fearing, freedom loving employee who in his 19 months working there had been a exemplary employee and had won 6 Homer awards, the highest honor a Home Depot employee can attain. Home Depot doesn't deserve Trevor Keezer. He has way too much to class for them.

Are you a patriotic American who loves his country and freedom? Are you a person of faith who believes everyone should have the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression including Christians? If so, then Home Depot doesn't deserve one more dime of your money from this point forward. I am not one who typically calls for boycotts and such, but that is exactly what I am doing in this case.

Enough is enough! And in this case it is too much. Until Home Depot rescinds their decision to fire this fine man and adjusts their policies on such matters, then they should suffer the consequences financially. Home Depot must pay, and pay dearly for this obvious, blatant, and intentional attack on the faith, freedom, and patriotism of one individual. I can't speak for anyone else on this issue, but I can tell you I am tired of all this politically correct crap. ALWAYS REMEMBER this; America was founded by Godly men on Christian principles with the Bible as the farmework. If you don't like this fact or if it offends you, TOUGH! You are free to leave the country at any time.

One of the most disturbing emails I have gotten recently

This is a message from my friend who was mayor in Lubbock, Windy Sitton. She attended all the White House Christmas parties during both Bush years. This is a personal message to me and not a "scare tactic" from unknowns on the internet. Pretty much says it all.

Thought you might be interested in this information from the White House. This isn't a rumor; this is a fact.

We have a friend at church who is a very talented artist. For several years she, among many others, has painted ornaments to be hung on the various White House Christmas trees. The White House sends out an invitation to send an ornament and informs the artists of the theme for the year

She got her letter from the White House recently. It said that they would not be called Christmas trees this year. They will be called Holiday trees. And, to please not send any ornaments painted with a religious theme.

She was very upset at this development and sent back a reply telling them that she painted the ornaments for Christmas trees and would not be sending any for display that left Christ out of Christmas.

Just thought you should know what the new residents in the White House (the Obamas) plan for the future of America. If you missed his statement that "we do not consider ourselves a Christian Nation" this should confirm that he plans to take us away from our religious foundation as quickly as possible.

I would say this to the Obamas; if you guys want to call it a holiday tree instead of a Christmas tree go right ahead. If you want to observe Christmas as something other than a Christian holiday go right ahead. But if you choose to do so, by all means please call it something other than Christmas. Christmas is a holiday celebrated by Christians and patriotic Americans who understand and appreciate its historical origins. And Mr. President, since it appears you are neither Christian or American, feel free to observe whatever you wish on December 25 and call it whatever you wish. As for me and my family, and most if not all patriotic Americans, we will observe Christmas by celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ as was intended. And neither you nor any of your cronies in Washington, not any legislation or government edict will hinder or prevent me from doing so.

So with that I will say this; I know its a little early, but Merry CHRISTmas Mr. President. And if the reference to Christ somehow bothers or oddends you, GOOD! Your attempts to take Christ out of Christmas and out of America at large offends and disgusts me, so we are even. You disgust me.

Hypocrites

Is just me, or do you also see the irony and hypocrisy of people who are pro-abortion and have kids or have a baby on the way? They want the rest of us to kill our babies and want doing so to be looked at as normal and acceptable. Why shouldn't abortion be acceptable, after all its just a fetus, right? Its not a child its a choice.

Wrong! A choice doesn't have a heartbeat, a child does. A choice doesn't give you the "thumbs up" sign in the 28 week sonogram picture, a child does. In an abortion, one heart stops and one heart breaks. Abortion is NOT healthcare, its MURDER. I guess its easy to be pro-abortion when you're not the one being KILLED.

I call on all those who call themselves pro-abortion and are expecting to step up to the plate and lead by example. If you believe so fervently in your cause, then abort your baby. Go ahead and murder your innocent unborn child like you encourage everyone else to do. Then tell me how ardently pro-abortion you are.

Conservatives are the ones spewing hate??

In a recent rant, well known writer and radio host Garrison Keillor had this to say about the much debated government sponsored health-care fiasco; “....one starts to wonder if the country wouldn't be better off without them and if Republicans should be cut out of the health-care system entirely and simply provided with aspirin and hand sanitizer. Thirty-two percent of the population identifies with the GOP, and if we cut off health care to them, we could probably pay off the deficit in short order,” Keillor went on to say; "It's time to dump the dead-end issues that have wasted too much time already. Old men shouldn't be allowed to doze off at the switch and muck up the works for the young who will have to repair the damage. Get over yourselves. Your replacements have arrived, and you should think about them now and then. Enough with the shrieking. Pass health-care reform." If you have been unclear as to the definition of a moron, these quotes from Keillor's column titled Stuck in the Shallows from the September 30 issue of the Chicago Tribune should clear it right up for you.

Most Conservatives like myself, you know, the God-fearing, freedom loving patriots among us, would never say we would like to see all the Liberals die off. I sure wouldn't. I actually kind of enjoy having them around if nothing else for the sheer entertainment value. Especially when they say things as vapid and intellectually vacant as Keillor's comments above. I hope they stay around a long time and keep right on opening their mouths and spewing this kind of drek. The only ones they are hurting are themselves. They would be funny if it wasn't for the sad fact that they actually believe and mean what they say.

Mr. Prairie Home Companion isn't the only nitwit spouting off at the mouth in amazingly stupid ways as of late. Enter Florida Democrat Congressman Allen Grayson who said this; "If you get sick, America, the Republican health care plan is this: die quickly," he said. "That's right. The Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick." Ahh the rich irony of this statement. Especially coming from a Democrat. The Democrat/Obama Health-care plan is the one that calls for the creation of death panels that evaluate whether or not senior citizens should continue getting the care they need based on arbitrary guidelines. Who wants whom to die quickly?? Need I remind you that it is also the Democrats who support killing people BEFORE they are born in that wonderful little exercise we know as abortion??

Elderly people who are terminally ill have a ''duty to die and get out of the way'' instead of trying to prolong their lives by artificial means, Democrat Gov. Richard D. Lamm of Colorado said back on March 29, 1984. Just thought I would throw this little gem in to the mix in case any of you are laboring under the notion that this hatred of the elderly was something new for the Democrats. A duty to die?? I wonder what his parents and grandparents thought about his assertion?

The truth is, the elephant in the room if you will, that the Democrats do not want you to know about is the FACT that Conservatives do in fact want everyone, young, old, and in between to have reliable and affordable health-care and health insurance. We just don't want the government to use tax dollars to pay for it while they attempt to administer it fairly. We would love to see competition develop between insurance companies and health care providers thus causing prices to decrease and quality to increase. Its called capitalism and the free market system and it works every time it is tried.

This God-fearing, freedom loving, patriotic does not want to see Liberals "die quickly". I would rather see them die an excruciatingly slow and painful death with lots of suffering. JUST KIDDING! As I stated earlier, we need Liberals around. We need them to keep right on doing what they do. The Bible says that "out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks". So when the Garrison Keillors of the world say things like "Republicans should be cut out of the health-care system entirely and simply provided with aspirin and hand sanitizer" it reveals very clearly what is in his heart. And it is not a pretty picture. Everytime one of them opens his mouth and this sludge begins to pour out they show us exactly who they are.

No one on the left is rushing to distance themselves or their party from Keillor's statement either so we can only assume that they agree wholeheartedly with his words and harbor in their darkened hearts the same venom, vitriol, and hatred towards us that Keillor does. Their silence on the issue speaks volumes very loudly.

WHAT A SUMMARY!!!

So, Let's Recap--

1. The American people elect a black president with a total of 142 days experience as a US Senator from the most politically corrupt state in America whose governor is ousted from office. The President's first official act is to order the close of Gitmo and make sure terrorists civil rights are not violated. (He screwed up!!)

2. The U.S. Congress rushes to confirm a black Attorney General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen Gitmo Terrorists. (An honest mistake?!)

3. The CIA Boss appointee, Leon Panetta, has absolutely no experience, has a daughter Linda, we find out, who is a true radical anti-American activist and a supporter of all the Anti-American regimes in the western hemisphere. (There were socio-economic factors involved!)

4. We got the second most corrupt American woman (Pelosi is #1) as Secretary of State; bought and paid for. (You can put lipstick on a pig, but it still stinks!)

5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who did not properly file his own taxes for 12 years. (He misspoke!)

6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges. (Another honest mistake???)

7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges... (Hmmm... another screw-up?)

8. A Labor Secretary nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct. (Ok, maybe this person was just plain stupid.)

9. A Secretary of HHS nominee (Daschle) who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes. (I'm running out of
excuses for these idiots!!)

10. Multiple appointments of former lobbyists after an absolute campaign statement that no lobbyists would be appointed. (Dear God, I need a drink!)

All this occurred just during the first three weeks. . . but who's counting?

America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges ;Barry, Nancy and Harry and they are still trying to define stimulus..."it's spending!!!"

The congress passes the $80 0,000,000,000 (that's $800 billion) pork-loaded spending bill where the government gives you a smidgen of your tax dollars ($13 per week), making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated], that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch Telemundo!

Only in America , what a country...

Pray for our country. Here's the good news though - Obama took Air Force One to Denver to sign the stimulus package, wasting as much as 10,000 gallons of fuel OR 24 JOBS FOR ONE YEAR. Don't you just love this hypocrite?

Speaking of praying, Obama has now been president for seven months and yet he & wife (first lady) Michelle, the Christian family they claim to be, have not attended church since the inauguration. He must miss Reverend Wright!

In these times 'I'll keep my God, my freedom, my gun, and my money. Anyone who supports this insanity can keep "THE CHANGE".'

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those who died on the 11th of September, 2001...

thought you might like to know what happened in a little town north of Bakersfield , California

After you finish reading this, please forward this story on to others so that our nation and people around the world will know about those who laughed when they found out about the tragic events

in New York , Pennsylvania , and the Pentagon. On September 11th,

A Budweiser employee was making a delivery to a convenience store in a California town named McFarland. He knew of the tragedy that had occurred in New York when he entered the business

to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and hollering to show their approval

and support of this treacherous attack.

The Budweiser employee went to his truck, called his boss and told him of the very upsetting event! He didn't feel he could be in that store with those horrible people. His boss asked him, 'Do you think you could go in there long enough to pull every Budweiser product and item our beverage company sells there? We'll never deliver to them again.'

The employee walked in, proceeded to pull every single product his beverage company provided and left with an incredible grin on his face. He told them never to bother to call for a delivery again.

Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice for that community. Just letting you know how Kern County handled this situation.

And Now The Rest Of The Story:

It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him. Pepsi called his boss who told him to pull all Pepsi products as well!!! That would include Frito Lay, etc.

Furthermore, word spread and all vendors followed suit! At last report, on June 26, 2009, Fareed Katib closed the store and filed bankruptcy!

Good old American Passive-Aggressive A$$ Whoopin! Pass this along, America needs to know that we're all working together!

I am not a fan of alcoholic beverages or those companies who sell them. They could all go away tomorrow and I would not shed a single tear. That being said, this is a great story!! JC

I am a domestic terrorist

According to an unclassified Homeland Security Dept. document that I acquired today, it appears that I and others like me are now considered domestic terrorists deserving of being placed on the terrorist watch list. Here is the nutshell version. President Obama wants any and everyone who considers himself a Christian, a Conservative, believes in gun ownership, favors a smaller less powerful federal government and more powerful states, opposes redistribution of wealth, abortion, and illegal immigration; to be considered "right wing extremists" and "domestic terrorists". He wants us all put on the terrorist watch list. "(U//LES) The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific information that domestic rightwing* terrorists are currently planning acts of violence,but rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about several emergent issues. The economic downturn and the election of the first African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and recruitment."

Our brave men and women returning from combat are also considered domestic terrorist threats: "(U//FOUO) Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists. DHS/I&A is concerned that rightwing
extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities. (U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat. These skills and knowledge have the potential to boost the
capabilities of extremists—including lone wolves or small terrorist cells—to carry out violence. The willingness of a small percentage of military personnel to join extremist groups during the 1990s because they were disgruntled, disillusioned, or suffering from the psychological effects of war is being replicated today.

— (U) After Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1990-1991, some returning military
veterans—including Timothy McVeigh—joined or associated with rightwing
extremist groups.
— (U) A prominent civil rights organization reported in 2006 that “large numbers
of potentially violent neo-Nazis, skinheads, and other white supremacists are now
learning the art of warfare in the [U.S.] armed forces.”
— (U//LES) The FBI noted in a 2008 report on the white supremacist movement
that some returning military veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have
joined extremist groups."

If you oppose Obama, you are a threat: "(U//LES) Rightwing extremists are harnessing this historical election as a recruitment
tool. Many rightwing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms
— (U//LES) Most statements by rightwing extremists have been rhetorical, expressing concerns about the election of the first African American president, but stopping short of calls for violent action. In two instances in the run-up to the election, extremists appeared to be in the early planning stages of some threatening activity targeting the Democratic nominee, but law enforcement
interceded."

Those of who oppose illegal immigration are a threat: "(U//FOUO) Rightwing extremists were concerned during the 1990s with the perceptionthat illegal immigrants were taking away American jobs through their willingness to work at significantly lower wages. They also opposed free trade agreements, arguing that these arrangements resulted in Americans losing jobs to countries such as Mexico. (U//FOUO) Over the past five years, various rightwing extremists, including militias and white supremacists, have adopted the immigration issue as a call to action, rallying point, and recruiting tool. Debates over appropriate immigration levels and enforcement policy generally fall within the realm of protected political speech under the First Amendment, but in some cases, anti-immigration or strident pro-enforcement fervor has been directed against specific groups and has the potential to turn violent.

(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremist groups’ frustration over a perceived lack of government action on illegal immigration has the potential to incite individuals or small groups toward violence. If such violence were to occur, it likely would be isolated, small-scale, and directed at specific immigration-related targets.
— (U//FOUO) DHS/I&A notes that prominent civil rights organizations have observed an increase in anti-Hispanic crimes over the past five years.
— (U) In April 2007, six militia members were arrested for various weapons and explosives violations. Open source reporting alleged that those arrested had discussed and conducted surveillance for a machine gun attack on Hispanics.
— (U) A militia member in Wyoming was arrested in February 2007 after communicating his plans to travel to the Mexican border to kill immigrants crossing into the United States." Translate that into, if you oppose illegal immigration you want all Hispanics dead.

Be careful what you teach your children: "(U//FOUO) Scholars and experts disagree over poverty’s role in motivating violent radicalization orterrorist activity. High unemployment, however, has the potential to lead to alienation, thus increasing an individual’s susceptibility to extremist ideas. According to a 2007 study from the German Institute for Economic Research, there appears to be a strong association between a parent’s unemployment status and the formation of rightwing extremist beliefs in their children—specifically xenophobia and antidemocratic ideals." In other words, if you teach your kids Conservatism, you make them a terrorist threat.

"(U) Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.

So ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, there you have it. The Department of Homeland Security, originally formed to keep us safe from attacks from foreign terrorists has now been turned into an oppressive arm of government that we need to be protected from.

I am a Christian and a Conservative who believes in the 2nd amendment, a strong military, and a small federal government. I oppose redistribution of wealth, Obamacare (which also makes me a racist I am told), abortion, and illegal immigration. So, I guess this means that to Homeland Security this makes me a right wing extremist and a domestic terrorist. Fine, I will wear the label proudly. The truth is, it makes me a TRUE AMERICAN and a PATRIOTIC AMERICAN. So go ahead DHS, put me on your watch list and watch me continue to live my life as a Conservative Christian who believes in all the things that make America great. I have one thing on my side that you don't, THE CONSTITUTION!

GOD'S ACCURACY---How lovely to think about the way our Creator God planned everything so carefully and perfectly, everything with a plan. As His highest creation, 'we are fearfully and wonderfully made.'

God's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs. For example,
The eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days;
Those of the canary in 14 days;
Those of the barnyard hen in 21 days.
The eggs of ducks and geese hatch in 28 days;
Those of the mallard in 35 days.
The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days.
(Notice, they are all divisible by seven).

God's wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant. The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction. No other quadruped is so made. God planned that this animal would have a huge body, too large to live on two legs. For this reason He gave it four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.

The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first. A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first.

How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation! God's wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as well as in the number of grains.

Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind.
Each orange has an even number of segments.
Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.
Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains.
Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number.
The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.
All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks. The Lord specified thirty fold, sixty fold, and a hundredfold - all even numbers.

God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during the day, so that Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and those that were closed!

Thus the Lord in His wonderful grace can arrange the life that is entrusted to His care in such a way that it will carry out His purposes and plans, and will be fragrant with His presence. Only the God-planned life is successful. Only the life given over to the care of the Lord is safe.

Liar, liar, you should be fired!!

South Carolina Republican Congressman Joe Wilson has become the latest punching bag for the government controlled media after his “outburst” at President Obama’s address to joint house of Congress Tuesday night. When the president mentioned that his healthcare bill would not cover illegal immigrants, Wilson shouted out “you lie”. Many have called for his censure for this break from decorum and Wilson has apologized for that aspect of it, but has backed down from what he said. Nor should he.

We need more people with the spine to stand up to our president and his minions and call them out when they try to deceive us. A caller to a local radio station said yesterday that “John McCain needs to go back to Vietnam and see if he can find his backbone” I would also attach that statement to others in the Republican party who are joining Democraps in calling for Wilson’s censure and even resignation. A bunch of gutless, spine wimps the lot of them. The reason his comments anger them so much is because deep in their liberal bleeding hearts they Wilson is right and it scares them to death!

Obama flat out and blatantly lied about the healthcare bill’s coverage of illegal immigrants. What I find interesting is he said “his plan” wouldn’t cover them. What and where exactly is his plan? Is it something different than H.R 3200 that currently sits in the house waiting for a vote? H.R. 3200 does in fact allow coverage of illegal immigrants in that it prohibits insurance companies and healthcare providers from asking about or checking a person’s citizenship status. This is like the military’s “don’t ask don’t tell” policy. Joe Wilson was right, he lied, plain and simple.

H.R. 3200 also calls for all health insurance policies to cover abortions. Since when does the cold-blooded murder of the innocent unborn qualify as healthcare? It doesn’t. It never has and it never will. That alone should be reason enough to stop this bill dead in its tracks. The only thing we should abort is H.R. 3200.

Our factless leader also lies when he says the bill doesn’t call for euthanizing our nation’s elderly. It does in fact call for panels to be established to conduct audits of each individual covered to determine if they in fact deserve to receive the care needed to keep them alive. Obama will probably select Dr. Kevorkian to head up these panels. So, if you are old and have numerous health issues, but still have the ability to lead a normal and even productive life, these panels may determine that you are too old, sick, and frail and don’t need any further care. You have outlived your usefulness to society and should be put out to pasture. How arrogant and ignorant can these people be?? Of course we are talking about the same guy who while campaigning for president claimed to have visited 57 states and still had six more to go. I guess this answers the previous question.

God bless Joe Wilson for calling Obama out on his lies. He is true American, a true patriot, and a true Conservative. We need more people out there like Joe Wilson who care more what is right for America than they do their own reputation. Wilson’s reputation may have taken a hit and his stock may have gone way down in the warped minds of some, but to me he is a hero of the Conservative movement. God Bless Joe Wilson, God Bless Conservatism, God Bless Patriotism, and most of all God Bless America!!

Obama: The ultimate control freak.

I’m sure you’ve heard all of the adjectives used to describe President Obama. You know the ones; ultra-liberal, Marxist/Socialist, racist, incompetent, unqualified, etc. All of those are true and accurate, but I want to introduce you to another descriptive of our illustrious president; control freak.

He already controls the banking industry and the auto industry. He is trying to gain control of the insurance and healthcare industries as well. He also has his sights the radio and TV industries and the Internet. Government already controls the public schools. He has appointed a “pay czar” to review and regulate how much CEO’s of major industries get paid. If we are going to have “czars” over various industries then don’t we need a czar czar too??

Obama managed to pull off a take over of the banking industry by creating and implementing the stimulus package and appointing the pay czar. He managed to take over General Motors and Chrysler and appointing a car czar, all the while saying he “doesn’t want to be in the car business”. Gee, his lips were moving, he must have been lying.

There is this this wonderful, dare I even say sacred instrument known as the Constitution that plainly spells out the role of government. That role has nothing to do with government controlling private industries. The private sector should always remain privately owned and privately controlled. When government begins taking over private businesses we should all fear that private home lives and our churches will be next.

Obama has never owned, run or controlled a business of any kind. He was a community organizer, whatever that is. The fact that some uninformed and unplugged voters put him in our nation’s highest elected office does not automatically make him qualified for the job. Nor does it make those who voted for him qualified to have the privilege of voting.

So Mr. President, Mr. Community Organizer, Mr. Control Freak - N - Chief, if you want to organize something then organize your sock drawer. If you want to control something, try controlling your insatiable appetite and lust for power and control, but LEAVE MY COUNTRY ALONE!!!! In fact, you could just leave the country altogether. We would all be better off. If you do though, fly out on a commercial airliner, Air Force 1 belongs to us.

The Patch - Too good not to share

The other day I had to go to the emergency room. Not wanting to sit there waiting for 4 hours, I put on my old Army fatigues and stuck a patch onto the front of my shirt that I had downloaded off of the Internet.

When I went into the ER I noticed that 3/4 got up and left. I guess they decided they weren't that sick after all. That cut at lest 3 hours off of my waiting time.

Here' the patch. Feel free to use it next time you need faster emergency service.

It also works at the DMV and the laundromat. Don't use it at McDonald's though. The whole crew will exit and you will never get your order.

This is a quote from www.smartUSA.com, the official website for the so-called Smart car. The official name for the car is Smart for two. It is basically an enclosed golf cart that seats two people. Not exactly a good fit for families. That’s because the ugly truth is, enviro-Nazis like the people behind the “Smart Car” firmly believe that people cause environmental calamity and thus large families contribute to our alleged environmental woes. They believe they should discourage families larger than 1 or 2 people so they build a product to that end. If your family is too large to fit into their car, then as far as they are concerned, it is too large.

On the hit TV show "Friends" Chandler once made the comment "who wants to buy a car you have to put together yourself?" Even though he was talking about a generic compact car, this quote fits the Smart fortwo. With a body by Playskool and an engine by Briggs & Stratton one can easily see why this car lacks widespread appeal here in America and especially here in Texas. I would expand Chandler's comments even further by saying who wants to buy a car that you have to pull a rope to start?

This so-called car is actually smaller than a the two seat golf carts you see running around. And yet its owners expect all of us to embrace this fiasco as the savior of the planet. Wanting to save the environment is fine, except there is NO ENVIRONMENTAL CRISIS, and even if there was this little toy car isn't the answer. What do you think would happen if the Smart fortwo got into a crash with a Suburban, Hummer, F-250, or any other large vehicle? I'll tell you what would happen. the occupants of the fortwo would most likely be dead.

The car may be smart, but its makers and its owners are another story. Especially if the owners bought the little enclosed lawn mower because of the envrionmental doom and gloom stories being told in order to sell it. It doesn't take a lot of smarts to be fed the pablum that someone wants to feed you. It doesn't take a lot of brain power to blindly follow an agenda without researching it for yourself just because some slick talker like Al Gore put a guilt trip on you.

So my fellow Americans, buy a REAL CAR!! Not an over-priced toy like the Smart fortwo.

Pizza mogul pays $250,000 for Camaro

In 1984, John Schnatter sold his prized 1971 Camaro Z28 for $2800. he used the money to save his dad's tavern, knock out a broom closet in the tavern, and buy pizza making equipment. 25 years later Papa John's Pizza is a worldwide enterprise.

Recently Schnatter offered a $250,000 reward for the location of his prized Camaro. It turned up 65 miles from home, still in the state of Kentucky. It has not been reported what he actually paid to back the car itself. In addition to this on Wednesday August 26, Papa John's Pizza offered a free large one topping pizza to all Camaro owners who drove their cars to the stores.

With the unknown price of the car, the free pizzas for a day, and $250K reward I can't help but wonder just how much did this car cost him exactly? I guess we'll never know.

I just love a good debate, especially the kind often found on radio and TV talk show like the one Glenn Beck does on Fox News Channel. On one of his recent shows, Beck caused a flap by saying that he believes President Barack Hussein Obama is a racist. Many are calling for his firing and, depending on who you listen to, it appears he has either been suspended or is on a "forced vacation" for a week. Keep in mind, he merely said he thinks Obama is a racist. He didn't go Don Imus on us and call the First Lady a nappy headed ho or anything like that. This is what he said; “This president has exposed himself as a guy over and over and over again who has a deep-seated hatred for white people … this guy is, I believe, a racist.”

Yet, as if he had pulled an Imus or something similarly egregious, many of the advertisers on his show and on the network as a whole have dropped him and Fox like a hot rock. Cowards. Every last one of them. Just because they advertise on his or any other show doesn't automatically mean people will assume they agree with everything he says or does. It means that they are, or were at one time, smart enough to advertise on a very highly rated program. Apparently they have all taken leave of their senses and have let political correctness rule the day. And all of it over one man's opinion. An opinion that may very well have some factaulity to it too.

These gutless, spineless advertisers don't deserve our business and are only hurting themselves. So, let's help them along the masochistic path they have chosen for themselves. Lets increase their pain just a little by not giving them one dime of our money ever again! The lily-livered cowards I am referring to are; AT&T, Campbell Soup Company, Colorox, Farmers Insurance Group, Johnson & Johnson, NutriSystem, Sprint, The UPS Store, and Verizon Wireless. Such giants of the corporate world reduced to whining, sniveling little cowards all because of one man's opinion. Such a shame. Makes me wonder how if they are that fearful of one man with the guts to say what he believes, how have they been so successful in the face of fierce, cut-throat competitors?

I am not necessarily rushing to the defense of Glenn Beck. He is a big boy and take care of himself and doesn't need a lowly blogger like me to take up for him. What I am rushing to the defense of is free speech. The God given, constitutionally protected right to form, hold, and freely express any opinion we choose to form, hold, or express. These rights are under attack in the Glenn Beck contorversy.

I can't speak for Beck, for Fox News Channel, or for anyone else, but I can say that I will not be bullied into allowing my rights to be subjigated by a bunch of cowardly morons afraid of getting the facts before the general public. And, like it or not, some of Obama's associates, both past and present, are clear and obvious racists. If you think he can associate with guys of this ilk and not be affected by their racist poison you're either very unintelligent or so blinded by your own racial and political bigotry that you refuse to see the facts before you. There was most likely a lot of truth to Beck's statement.

The truthopohibc advertisers and those calling for Beck's head on a platter are clearly trying to create an atmosphere where a person can say whatever they like as long it doesn't offend someone else and as long the advertisers are comfortable with it. That my friends is not freedom. It is the exact opposite. That mentality is not what has made America the greatest nation on the planet. That mentality is what will destroy us as a nation.

So, with that, I hope these gutless advertisers lose billions because of their stupidity and I hope Glenn Beck's and Fox News Channel's ratings soar to the stratosphere as a result of all of this mess. Now that is justice. That is the American way. To Glenn Beck and Fox News, keep up the good work and don't relent to the uneducated, uniformed, un-American dolts out there who are trying to silence you. I know they WILL NOT silence me!!

I Believe

I believe that true Conservatism means less government involvement in our personal lives and decisions, not more. It is not the job of the federal government to run our lives. It is not their job to make health care decisions for our families. It is not government’s job to provide all American with “free” health care. Nothing is free. Someone has to pay for it. It is tax dollars, yours and mine, that pay for this “free” health care. So, essentially, we are paying for our own health care anyway.

I further believe that government should not be in business of owning and running private businesses such as banks, automobile companies, and health care and/or insurance companies. The private sector should remain private.

I believe that abortion is cold-blooded murder, and not a choice. When a woman gives birth, she does not give birth to a choice, she gives birth to a child. A choice doesn’t have a heart beat while still in the womb, a child does. A choice doesn’t give you a thumbs up or a wave in the 28 week sonogram picture, a child does. The only time choice enters into the picture is when the couple chooses to engage in the sex act that creates the child.

I further believe that rape is not an excuse for the murderous act that is abortion. Think about this; a woman gets raped and as a result winds up pregnant. That child is not the one who committed the rape. In many ways, this unplanned, unwanted child is as much a victim as its mom. God help us when we become a nation that kills our innocent victims. Or have we become that already?? If taking a life after the commission of rape is in order, then why not take the life of the rapist, not the innocent victim?

I believe the federal government should not be in the business of educating our children. The government schools in this country no longer educate anyway, they indoctrinate. They have welcomed atheism, liberalism, and political correctness into our schools under the guise of diversity and equality, and have kicked God to the curb. I also believe that if government is going to involve itself in the education of our children, then it should offer alternatives to its own schools in the form of vouchers available to parents who wish to send their kids somewhere where they can get a real, quality education.

I further believe that our schools should not be in the business of teaching Christianity, nor should they be hostile towards the Christian beliefs of students, parents, or faculty. In any public school in America, a child can walk down the hallway carrying a Playboy magazine, and not get into trouble. But let another student walk through the same hall carrying Charisma, a Christian magazine, and he will be suspended or even expelled. A child can walk through public school hallways carrying a copy of the Quran or the Satanic bible and not get in trouble. In fact, the act will be celebrated and as a wonderful display of freedom and diversity. Let it be the Christian Bible though, and the child is expelled and the contraband Bible is confiscated. I believe this should never occur in a country with a Constitution that guarantees freedom of religion and freedom speech. I guess it is now true, American offers total freedom of speech and freedom of religion, to everyone but Christians.

I believe that the global warming “crisis” is contrived in order to make people like Al Gore even more wealthy. The earth was created by God to have cyclical periods of warming and cooling. When the earth’s temperature rises or falls a degree or two, it is not sign of impending peril or doom. It is instead a sign that this complex organism that is the planet we live on is in fact functioning exactly the way God designed and intended for it to function. Mere mortals like ourselves cannot control the rate at which the earth warms and cools. Only God can do that. Driving hybrids and those so-called Smart cars will make no difference whatsoever. I also believe that those Smart cars are actually themselves smarter than their politically correct, left leaning, enviro-Nazi owners.

I believe that the people who are taking advantage of the federal government’s “cash for clunkers” program are among the lowest common denominator when it come to intelligence. They actually believe they are getting “free” government assistance to purchase a new, government approved car. The reality is they are either blinded to or purposely ignoring is the fact that this $4500 the government is allegedly “giving” to the dealerships on their behalf is in fact their money to begin with. Government cannot give anything to anyone that it has not first taken from someone else. Government has taken their tax money, along with yours and mine, and is using their money to help pay for their car. So, in essence, these people are giving the dealership their “clunker” and the government is giving the dealership the customer’s own money it confiscated from them in the form of taxes, so the customer is in reality paying for their own car. They give away their perfectly good older car that is probably paid for, have their tax money taken from them and given to the car dealer, and in return they get $20,000-$30,000 in debt. Who exactly is being taken advantage of here?? So tell me “cash for clunkers” participants, how’s that hope and change working out for you??

I believe that the 2nd Amendment is and should be everyone’s concealed carry permit. How much more clear can “the right to keep and bear arms” be?? It doesn’t say “the right to keep and bear arms as long as the government approves of it”. Gun control legislation of any kind is clearly and completely unconstitutional.

I further believe there should only be two kinds of gun control; a good aim and a steady hand. Gun control means you hit what you are aiming and shooting at. An unarmed citizenry is socialism and communism’s best friend. Government should have a reverential fear of the citizenry. The citizenry should not have to fear an oppressive, out of control, overbearing, tyrannical government.

I believe that on Nov. 4 2008 when America became an Obama nation, it also became an abomination. The uninformed and uneducated among us voted into office a Marxist/Socialist whose sole purpose is to destroy this country by making it a Socialist utopia. America’s only hope of survival aside from turning back to God and the Christian principles and ideals it was founded on, is for the informed and educated voters among us to vote this clown out of office in 2012.

I further believe that there are Americans, and there are liberals. That the two are mutually exclusive and one cannot be both. Just as one cannot be both a Christian and a Democrat. The two cancel each other out. It is an oxymoron to say you’re an American liberal or a Christian Democrat, and only a plain, ordinary, garden variety moron will believe you if you did say it.

It is past time for Conservative, patriotic, freedom loving Americans to rise up and take this country back. The true Americans among us. The ones who matter. I believe we can do this, the question is will we. I will do my part. Will you??

A BIG SALUTE TO OKLAHOMA AND ALL THE OKIES! GOOD JOB!

Let's hear it for Oklahoma ...

The state law passed today, 37 to 9, had a few liberals in the mix, an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The Feds in DC, along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey, this is a conservative state, based on Christian values! Guess what...We did it anyway.

We recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. Hope we didn't send any of them to your state. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU. They said it would be a mistake. Guess what.....we did it anyway.

Yesterday, we passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all illegal's to the Oklahoma database for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional. Guess what.....We did it anyway..

Several weeks ago, we passed a law declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. That makes Oklahoma and Texas the only states to do so.

Guess what.....More states are likely to follow. Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, both Carolina's, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, just to name a few. Should Mississippi act, so will Florida . It appears the South is about to rise up once again. [Hopefully these and other states will get some 'guts' to stand up for their rights.]

The Federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a set back for the Kennedy's and Ms. Pelosi. Guess what.....We did it anyway.

By the way, Obama does not like any of this. Guess what......we don't care....we're doing it anyway.

Texting while driving is not only unsafe, it is also not very smart.

The large number of morons who engage in this practice is alarming. Lets be real here and not beat around bush, if you text while driving you are stupid. Plain and simple.

I am not normally a big fan of more laws and government regulations, but in the case of states banning this practice, I say good for them. If drivers in these states lack the intelligence and common sense to refrain from this practice then maybe they shouldn't be given driver's licenses to start with. Someone has got to protect those of us who have the smarts to not engage in this dangerous practice from those of us who don't.

Forrest Gump once said "stupid is as stupid does". Stupid texts while driving. Don't be stupid.

The Brilliance of Barack

I am going to say something here that may shock many of my readers. The Obama Administration's Cash for Clunkers program is a stroke of genius that clearly demonstrates the brilliance of Barack. For those of you who have been hiding under a rock as of late and do not know what I am referring to, let me bring you up to speed

The program is called CARS or the Car Allowance Rebate System and has become affectionately known as Cash for Clunkers. The idea is to give car buyers a government incentive to trade in their old gas guzzling, environment destroying vehicles for a new, government approved, politically correct econobox of a car. The consumer takes their "clunker" to a dealership, fills out some paperwork, and provided the car being traded and the car being purchased meet certain criteria, the government cuts the dealership a check for as much as $4500 to go towards the purchase of the new car.

Now, who in their right mind wouldn't take advantage of this program? I mean, after all, we are talking free money from the Obama Administration and screwing a crooked car dealer at the same time, right? The better question is who in their right mind WOULD let themselves be taken advantage of by this government rip off? Remember your high school government classes boys and girls, and remember that the only money the government gets is what they confiscatorily take from us in the form of taxes.

The elephant in the room that the government hopes you continue to ignore is the FACT that you are not getting anything for free from good old Uncle Sam. You're giving the dealership your perfectly good used car and you're giving them $4500 on top of that because this "incentive" IS YOUR MONEY to start with. So essentially, you're giving away your car, and $4500 cash and you actually think you're getting a good deal and helping the economy. The reality is, you're the one getting screwed here and no one is even offering you any Vaseline.

And that my friends is the brilliance of Barack. Convincing you that giving away your perfectly good car and giving away $4500 is somehow a good idea and getting you to like it. Or maybe in reality it is the abject stupidity of every person who has participated in this clunker of a program and of those who voted for our clunker of a president.

OIL (not a joke)

The U. S.. Geological Service issued a report in April ('08) that only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report ( hadn't been updated since '95) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota; western South Dakota and extreme eastern Montana ..... check THIS out:

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels.. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.

'When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.' says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.

'This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years.' reports, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.' And it stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada . For years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end.. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves.... and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years straight.

The Pot Calling The Kettle Black, or in this case The President calling the cop a racist.

Just about the time I begin to think that President Obama has done just about all the damage he can do to what little credibility he has left if any, he goes and proves me wrong. Follow the links below for more on this topic.

Here is my take on the above stories. This Harvard professor, Henry Louis Gates Jr., who just happens to be black was arrested by a white cop after he refused to provide identification per the officer's request. The officer who was investigating a reported burglary at the home was trying to determine if in fact Gates was the resident of the home in question and and was supposed to be there. Rather than provide the requested identification information like any decent, law abiding citizen would do, Gates instead went on an obscenity laced tirade calling the officer a racist and making derogatory comments about the officer's mother. Gates at one point said "this is what happens to a black man in America". A second officer on the scene at the time says the arresting officer followed proper procedure and protocol when he arrested Gates for disorderly conduct.

President Obama responded saying that the police "acted stupidly" in this situation. A day later Obama backed off a little saying he wished "cooler heads had prevailed". You can translate that into he wishes the cracker cop had let the black go free. The problem with Obama's remarks other than its obvious racial overtones is that he commented from a national perspective on a local matter of which he knew nothing about. Which is eerily similar to how runs this country.

Gates said "this is what happens to a black man in America", well if that's how you feel professor Gates, and how much you hate America then feel free to leave. And when you go take Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackass, and Jeremiah Wright with you. America will certainly be better off without such racists and race baiters.

This just goes to show that in today's America white cops are apparently not allowed to arrest blacks even if they commit a crime right in front of the officer without the white officer being labeled a racist. By the way, the arresting officer was appointed by a black police commissioner to be one of two officers who teach other officers about racial profiling and how to avoid it. He has the support of fellow officers both black and white.

I would not even be writing this column and there would be no news stories to reference had it been a black officer who arrested a white man. A black cop arrests a white subject and race never enters the picture. But, let a white cop arrest a black subject and it is automatically a racial issue. Where did we go so wrong in America??

Remember, only a racist would make a non-racial issue out to be a racial issue. Enforcing the law is not a racial issue. The laws apply to everyone regardless of race or ethnicity and should be and in this case were enforced without regard to race or ethnicity. This cop is a hero and this professor is a racist bigot who clearly hates white people. Yet it is the cop that is being vilified by the media and government. Sometimes I wonder and worry about my country, and rightfully so.

The most trusted man in America?? Not even close.

Former CBS News anchor Walter Cronkite, who passed away July 17 at the age of 92, was known by many as "the most trusted man in America". This begs the question, trusted by whom? The rest of the left leaning government controlled media perhaps? Or maybe its the mindless robots who believe everything they see on TV or read in print?

To patriotic, freedom loving, free-thinking, Conservative Americans though, he is not the most trusted man in America. As one of that group, I would trust the late Paul Harvey or anyone on Fox News long before Cronkite or anyone else in the mainstream media. All Walter Cronkite did was go on the air night after night and recite the Liberal talking points. Let's not forget, it was Cronkite who picked Dan Blather, arguably the most incompetent anchor to ever grace a camera, as his successor. Not only was he incompetent he was also the poster child for news reporting that is anything but fair and balanced. What is it about CBS News that attracts the worst common denominator of reporters? Cronkite, Rather, Couric, need I go any further?

Yes, Walter Cronkite was one of the most recognizable faces and voices in modern broadcast news history. And, despite his obvious Liberal leanings and reporting, he was loved by many Americans. He was an American icon.

Am I the only one who finds it odd though that Cronkite dies and it's national news for a couple of days, while on the other hand Paul Harvey, who had done news much longer and much better than Cronkite ever did, dies in Febraury and its barely a blip on the national news radar. Cronkite was just another news anchor. Paul Harvey on the other hand was a national treasure. Cronkite was a mouthpiece for Liberal ideology. Harvey was the voice of patriotic, Conservative Americans.

That my friends is the difference. The mainstream Liberal media was most likely happy to see Paul Harvey head off to that broadcast studio in the sky. Of course since he was Conservative they will probably tell you he went below and not above. Cronkite on the other hand, in their twisted minds, is sitting at the right hand of God giving Him news updates at 5PM Monday through Friday.

The same Liberal media types are I'm sure waiting anxiously for the day they can break into regularly scheduled programming and gleefully announce the death of Rush Limbaugh. In those media facilities there will be no weeping and gnashing of teeth on that day. There will be no tears shed. Instead there will be celebrations and pizza parties and what not. Although it wasn't publicized, I'm sure there were some high fives going around Liberal media news shops the day Paul Harvey died.

I remember as a kid growing up watching the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite with my parents. Every time he would end his 22 minutes of attempted indoctrination with his signature "and that's the way it is" I would almost become physically ill. I would think "no Walter, that's the way you want us to believe it is". Back then, there was no Fox News Channel to counter the Liberal indoctrination at CBS, ABC, and NBC. Some of us had to figure things out on our own.

So now Walter Cronkite has left us. He left us with Dan Blather. He left us with a lot of Liberal bias. He retired just in time, right before the national news became the joke and laughing stock that it now is. In the grand scheme of things Walter Cronkite was just another in a long line of Liberally biased anchors who have contributed to the mainstream media becoming nothing more the sick caracture of its former self.

And that my friends, is the way it really is. Sorry Walter, I had to use it. It was just too easy.

Mayfield drug saga continues

I blogged recently about NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield's suspension from the sport after a May 6 drug test came out positive for methamphetamine. Since that time, Mayfield's attorney got his suspension overturned. According to NASCAR, Mayfield has again tested positive for meth, this time on July (see story at link below)

Now if he is in fact clean and NASCAR is somehow cooking the test results or is using inaccurate testing methods, then clearly they need to taken down a few notches and shown that they can't push people around like this.

However, if the results are correct, and right now that does appear to be the most likely cenario, then Mayfield needs to banned from NASCAR for life. He is a danger to the other drivers, crews, and to the fans. How will his attorneys feel if they somehow manage to get him reinstated knowing he is a user and he causes an accident and another driver, or worse yet an innocent fan or three wind up dead as a result?

Right now, I stand behind NASCAR and their decision to seek a reinstatement of the ban. Our legal system is built on the "innocent until proven guilty" concept. In this case, the drug tests serve as proof of Mayfield's guilt. All he has otherwise is his assertion of innocence. That is not enough to stand up against the proof provided in the test result.

Sorry Jeremy, you lose yet another round. Are you bound and determined to spend all the wealth you have built up racing on an illfated attempt to get away with something against NASCAR policy and against the law? It sure looks that way. Instead of driving a racecar, we may soon Jeremy Mayfield working a fast food counter asking customers "do you want meth, um, I mean fries with that".
